Barossa Farmers Market

The Barossa Farmers Market is a genuine, local produce market which opens every Saturday from 7:30am to 11:30am.

You can find an array of food in the market, from fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, chicken, duck, beef, pork, lamb, specialty breads, the Barossa’s famous smallgoods, fresh milk, stunning pastries and baked goods, honey, olive oil and olives, freshly roasted coffee and blended teas and confectionery.

We arrived quite late and most of the food were already sold out. We managed to grab 2 quiches to satisfy our hungry tummy. Unfortunately, the stall did not have a oven so we had them cold. We also bought some strawberries and persimmons to eat for the next few days.  They were one of the sweetest fruits we ever had!

If you are passing by Barossa on a Saturday, I strongly recommend you to check it out.
