Exploring Singapore – Cafe Hopping

We got to enjoy an additional day for public holiday in celebration Singapore 50th Birthday. Happy Birthday Singapore!

We decided to explore the 10 Must-Try Cafes & Restaurants based on Lady Iron Chef’s recommendation.  So here we go…

First stop, Two Bakers

We tried the SG50 Special – Sambal Crab Risotto, Éclair Ondeh Ondeh and Bandung Latte. As there were 4 of us, we ordered another Egg with Smoked Salmon to share. We did order a drink each. It will be pathetic if the 4 of us shared 1 drink 😛

I went online to do a little research and found that the two chefs are Le Cordon Bleu Paris-trained. I will definitely want to try more of their desserts in my next visit.

Second stop, Chye Seng Huat Hardware

After quite a hearty breakfast, we ordered a truffle popcorn to share and a drink each. I had a Nitro Black Matter (the glass on the left). It is a cold brew on a Nitro Tap; i.e. beer on the tap but it’s coffee. The coffee on the left is the Hand-brewed coffee.

Third stop, The Refinery

The final stop means time to have some desserts.  We ordered The Refinery Waffle and Hokkaido Milk Caramel Mille Feuille. After having 2 coffee in 1 morning/ afternoon, we settled for tea this time.

The Refinery is famous for their Yakitori which is served during dinner. Just looked through the menu, they served sake bombs! I will be back for dinner.
